โš–๏ธ vs Zoho CRM

JugnuCRM vs Zoho CRM

Zoho CRM is a better CRM than ours by almost every measure. The question is whether you need a better CRM or a dialer that comes with one.

Let us be straight about the asymmetry. Zoho is an Indian company with more than fifty business applications, customers in every country, a partner network in every Indian city, and a CRM with custom modules, blueprints, forecasting, territory management and an integration marketplace. We are a small team in Indore with one product.

For most businesses, Zoho CRM is the right answer. If you sell by email and meetings, if you need quotes and invoices and support tickets in one ecosystem, if you want software that will certainly still exist in twenty years โ€” buy Zoho. We would.

There is one specific situation where we win, and it is narrow. If your team spends the whole day on the phone and you need a predictive dialer and number masking without assembling them from separate products, that is what JugnuCRM is. Zoho CRM has no dialer of its own: calling connects through PhoneBridge to Zoho Voice or a third-party provider, and Zoho Voice is a separate subscription offering a power dialer rather than a predictive one.

The honest differences

Zoho is the better CRM. Full stop

Custom modules, blueprints, forecasting, territory management, an integration marketplace, and fifty other applications that share your data. We do not have an answer to any of that and are not going to pretend we do.

But Zoho CRM has no dialer of its own

Calling in Zoho CRM works through PhoneBridge, which connects to Zoho Voice or a third-party telephony provider. The integration gives you click-to-call, call pop-ups and call notes. That is excellent for a sales team making twenty considered calls a day. It is not a calling floor working through two hundred leads.

Zoho Voice is a power dialer, not a predictive one

Zoho Voice offers a power dialer that automates outbound campaigns with an adjustable wait between calls, supporting up to 40 agents per campaign. A predictive dialer is a different thing: it calls ahead of your agents, discards busy, invalid and unanswered numbers, and connects only live humans. If that distinction does not matter to you, Zoho covers the ground.

Count the invoices, not just the per-user price

With Zoho you pay for CRM, then for Zoho Voice or another telephony vendor, then for numbers and minutes. Each is reasonable on its own. Our calling plan is one bill at โ‚น8,500 a month for up to 25 users with the dialer and recording inside it.

Under three users, Zoho is free and we are not

Zoho CRM's free edition covers up to three users with leads, contacts, deals, tasks and the mobile apps. We have nothing that competes with free. If you are three people, use it.

Above about seven users our flat plan is cheaper

Zoho Standard at roughly โ‚น800 per user on annual billing costs about โ‚น8,000 a month for ten users, against our flat โ‚น5,000 for up to 25. At twenty-five users it is roughly โ‚น20,000 against โ‚น5,000. That is before telephony on either side. Those figures come from a third-party pricing summary, so check Zoho's own site before relying on them.

Pick the one that matches your situation

Three users or fewer

Zoho CRM, free edition. There is no argument to make here and we will not invent one.

You sell by email, meetings and proposals

Zoho CRM. That is what it is built for and we are not. Our product assumes the phone is the job.

A calling floor working through hundreds of leads a day

JugnuCRM. Predictive pacing is the difference between an agent talking for forty minutes an hour and twenty, and it is in the plan rather than in a second product.

You need invoicing, support tickets and email campaigns too

Zoho. One subscription to Zoho One covers all of it with shared data. Stitching that together around us would cost more and work worse.

Buyer and seller numbers must stay hidden from agents

JugnuCRM. Number masking is core to what we do and is not listed among Zoho Voice's features.

You want deep customisation and your own modules

Zoho. Custom modules, blueprints and workflow depth are genuinely excellent and we have no equivalent.

Stock advisory, broking or anything SEBI-facing

JugnuCRM, usually. Centralised recordings against each client, role-based access, renewal tracking before subscriptions lapse. It is the workflow the product was built around.

You want certainty the vendor will exist in 2040

Zoho. We think we will be here too, but they are a company of thousands and we are not. That is a fair thing to weigh.

How to decide properly

  1. Start with the sales motion, not the price

If the phone is where your revenue happens, a dialer is the product and the CRM wraps around it. If the phone is one channel among several, the CRM is the product and calling wraps around it. That decides this more than cost.

  2. Try Zoho's free edition first

Three users, no cost, no commitment. If it does what you need, you have your answer and have spent nothing. We would rather you found that out now.

  3. If you do need a dialer, price the whole stack

Zoho CRM per user, plus Zoho Voice or another telephony vendor, plus numbers and minutes. Compare the total against โ‚น8,500 a month for up to 25 users.

  4. Then test on your own leads

Book our demo configured on your process and run the same lead list through both for a week. Compare connects per hour. If Zoho wins, take Zoho.

Questions people ask when comparing these two

Should I just use Zoho CRM?

Quite possibly yes. It is a more capable CRM than ours, it has a free edition for up to three users, and it sits inside an ecosystem covering accounting, support and marketing. Choose us only if your team lives on the phone and you need a predictive dialer and number masking in one system rather than assembled from several.

Does Zoho CRM have a predictive dialer?

Not in the CRM itself. Calling connects through PhoneBridge to Zoho Voice or a third-party provider. Zoho Voice offers a power dialer โ€” automated outbound campaigns with an adjustable wait between calls, up to 40 agents per campaign โ€” which is a genuinely useful tool but works differently from predictive dialling, where the system paces ahead of your agents and drops unanswered calls before anyone hears them.

Is Zoho cheaper than JugnuCRM?

Below about seven users, yes, and under three it is free. Above that our flat plan costs less: around โ‚น8,000 a month for ten Zoho Standard users against our โ‚น5,000 for up to 25, and roughly โ‚น20,000 against โ‚น5,000 at twenty-five users. Telephony sits on top in both cases, though ours is included in the โ‚น8,500 calling plan. Those Zoho figures come from a third-party summary, so confirm them on Zoho's own pricing page.

Can I use Zoho CRM with a separate dialer?

Yes, and plenty of Indian teams do exactly that. PhoneBridge connects Zoho CRM to a range of telephony providers. It is a perfectly sound architecture. You are then managing two vendors and two bills, and the integration gives you click-to-call and call pop-ups rather than a dialer pacing your floor โ€” which may be all you need.

What does JugnuCRM do better than Zoho?

A short list, honestly. Predictive dialling included rather than added on. Number masking. One bill instead of three. A flat price above seven users. And a small team who will change the software to fit how you work, which a company serving millions of customers cannot do for you.

What does Zoho do better than JugnuCRM?

Nearly everything else. Depth of CRM features, customisation, analytics, the Zoho One ecosystem, the integration marketplace, mobile apps, global support, a free tier, and the certainty that comes with scale.

Can you migrate our data from Zoho CRM?

Yes. Leads, contacts, deals, notes and call history export cleanly from Zoho, and we run a test migration first so you can check it before cutover. We will also tell you honestly if we think you should stay where you are.
